Bill began his real estate career in 1992 with Grubb & Ellis in Washington, D.C. as a real estate analyst. After learning the fundamentals of real estate markets, Bill accepted a consultant position with Arthur Andersen's Real Estate Advisory Services helping institutional investment firms with their strategic real estate decisions. This exposure allowed Bill to secure a position with CarrAmerica, a publicly traded, national real estate company. As a member of CarrAmerica's investment and development group, Bill helped in the acquisition and development of more than $2.0 billon worth of real estate in fourteen markets throughout the United States. Shortly after moving to San Francisco in 1998, Bill joined Simeon Commercial Properties as its Vice President of Development. Simeon was a local development company focused on value-added real estate investments in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Bill's unique and varied background in real estate led him to create Baker Street Properties in 2004. Beginning with the strong desire for a balanced lifestyle and an interest in the environment, Bill created a small, local development company focused on quality, creativity and sustainable practices.
